Give Thanks with UTO
Every day we have so many blessings that come our way. Let us rejoice and give thanks this fall by participating in our Cathedral’s United Thank Offering. UTO has been a tradition since 1889 and supports the missions and ministries of the Episcopal Church. Every cent collected fulfills diocesan grant requests, and each year over $2.5 million dollars is received through UTO offerings.

A Generous Start for Planting BCM’s “Client Choice” Food Pantry Concept
St. Anne’s Guild, as volunteer ambassadors for Buckhead Christian Ministry (BCM), are pleased to announce the results of their Cathedral-wide collection to fund the newly proposed “Client Choice” food pantry concept at BCM. The generosity of our Cathedral parishioners in August yielded a record $9,190 in seed money. The guild is very thankful for such tremendous support of this new BCM direction; we will hope for your ongoing help to match or exceed this great result at our next scheduled collection in February. As the Cathedral takes the lead in sponsoring BCM’s new food assistance concept, kudos to all who are contributing the seed for exciting growth ahead!

Help Crossroads in a Time of Transition
Where in Atlanta could you go if you suddenly found yourself without a place to live? Every month Crossroads Community Ministries greets about 350 newly homeless men, women, and children with kindness and effectively links them to services that can restore their lives to productivity. And, about 45 % are women and children! Crossroads offers a warm morning meal, and service connections, but not overnight shelter – that has been provided by other organizations, including the Peachtree-Pine shelter, Atlanta’s largest emergency overflow shelter.
