Construction Update: May 5, 2025
Posted on

Construction of the Good Faith Chapel continues apace. In the past month, most of the horizontal and vertical steel was installed, foundation masonry commenced, and decking for levels two and three were completed. In the midst of the great work on-site, on Palm Sunday hundreds of Cathedral parishioners signed a beam to commemorate their communal efforts in this project, and fundraising has surpassed $29,600,000 from more than 230 families.
In May, further site grading will take place, new boilers and water lines will be installed, and the roof steel will be erected. We also hope to finalize the design and begin the construction of the altar and supporting furniture.
Later in May, we anticipate some utility work that will require a temporary road closure on Andrews Drive. We will alert you once we know more precise timing.
Stay tuned for a possible “topping out” celebration in June.
