Happy New Year!
Construction of the Good Faith Chapel continues apace! In the month of December, wood trim installation was completed in the Chapel and much of the ambulatories and narthex, and freight elevator was completed. On the exterior, finish metal, slate, and gutters all moved forward.
An important note: beginning Monday, January 5, two new water lines will be installed across Andrews Drive. The work will close one lane of the road for much of the week. At other times there will be steel plates across the road. There will be a short period of time on one day that the entire road will be closed to install new asphalt. We will have flaggers on-site and we will keep the Cathedral driveway open to go around this work. The contractor will install the new pipes in such a way that neighbors will maintain water pressure. Please pardon our dust and we will try to get this work completed as quickly as possible.
In addition to the water lines, exterior grading and hardscaping and LED screen installations will commence in January.
