Cathedral Thrift House

Donate To The Thrift House

Good news! The Cathedral Thrift House is now open exclusively to receive donations. Donations will be accepted only between the hours of 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and only on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The reduced hours and days are to ensure that we have staff available. Please bring your donations to the rear door of the store. Please note that because of limited space and personnel, we will not be able to accept electronics; children’s clothing; or anything that is ripped, torn, stained, or broken until further notice. Please stay tuned for a future announcement on when the store will open to customers. Most important, thank you for your continued support of the Cathedral Thrift House!

Thrift House Trunk Show

On September 18, the Cathedral Thrift House expanded northward for a one-day only trunk show at the home of a Thrift House Board member. Parishioners enjoyed shopping for couture clothing from Chanel, St. John, Worth, and Ralph Lauren; accessories from Kate Spade, Judith Lieber, and Stuart Weitzman; and both “fun” and fine jewelry. Prosecco was served and we learned a new word, fizzicality: the desire to enthusiastically hug one’s friends after the consumption of prosecco.

Cathedral Thrift House Seeks Volunteers

The Cathedral Thrift House seeks good looking, intelligent, fun loving, and hard working people to volunteer at the Thrift House. We especially need volunteers who can lift donations out of cars, but all are welcome! Two hours per week would be best, but you can set your own schedule as long as you volunteer at least two hours a month. Mondays-Saturdays, 10-4:30. Salary—priceless. Benefits—infinite!
