St. Veronica’s Guild would like to thank all those who have participated in this year’s toiletry drive for four Episcopal ministries in the Atlanta area which serve people who are poor, homeless, or have mental and emotional disabilities. Six times this year more than 200 pounds of donated and purchased personal care items were sent to these ministries. For example, the ministry that serves people who are homeless requested 100 each of soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, and washcloth and lesser amounts of razors, combs, and emery boards. The other three ministries requested different quantities of these, some needing individual sizes and others family-size packages of diapers, feminine hygiene products and white socks.
In this season of thankfulness and gift giving, please help St. Veronica and the Cathedral support the work of local ministries by contributing new, unopened, travel or regular size personal care items. You may leave your donations at the Information Desk. With questions, please contact Lucy Perry, firstname.lastname@example.org or Judy Bodner, 404-814-1468.
