Rainbow Village presents its 25th anniversary benefit concert, Friday, January 29, 8 p.m. in the Cathedral, featuring the St. Paul's Episcopal Church choir, with combined choirs of Atlanta and members of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
Rainbow Village, a ministry of the Diocese of Atlanta, has an 85% success rate in its mission to break the cycles of homelessness, poverty, and domestic violence. This concert is the first in a series of activities planned for 2016 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the ministry. A part of the celebration will be to finish the village by adding the last two apartment buildings, bringing the total to 30 families and up to 150 people at a time.
