Shane Connolly - This UK floral designer’s clientele and accomplishments are among the most exclusive in the world. Shane was appointed Artistic Director for the 2011 wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, designed the wedding bouquet for the 2005 wedding of the Duchess of Cornwall to the Prince of Wales and their flowers for the service of dedication in Windsor Castle, holds two Royal Warrants, and counts London’s Victoria & Albert Museum and the Royal Academy of Arts as two of his most valued clients. Shane is known for his quirky, unpretentious style, that has been heralded for its elegance and originality, and has authored 5 books on the subject.
Hitomi Gilliam – Based in British Columbia, Hitomi’s biggest passion is ‘Sharing Everything She Knows about Flowers’ through presenting and teaching. Beginning her career as a Farmer/Florist, greenhouse grower and landscape designer, and retail florist, she now focuses her attention to teaching and has became a much-sought-after floral educator, presenting design programs and workshops extensively throughout North America and around the world. She is the recipient of many international awards and the author of 8 books.
Christin Geall – This Canadian floral designer, writer, photographer, and gardener, trained in horticulture at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. She completed a BA in Environmental Studies and Anthropology and an MFA in Writing before becoming a gardening columnist for Gardenista. She is the author of the book Cultivated: Elements of Floral Style. Christin’s writing and floral work focuses on the intersections of nature, culture and horticulture. Through her company, Cultivated, she teaches in the UK, US and Canada.
