The Touches of Gothic exhibition has graced the walls of the Peachtree Overlook in the Atrium since March and is in its final days. Artist McLean Jenkins’ watercolors derive from and celebrate the Classical forms of his trade. Working in graphite, ink, and watercolor, McLean employs a confident, gestural approach that frees his hand to explore a subject’s essence. His compositions (including his latest works of the Cathedral of St. Philip) rely on a quick formal sketch and are then given over to the whims and splashes of watercolor. Please contact David Rocchio at 404-365-1033 or drocchio@cathedralATL.org if you are interested in purchasing one of the remaining works of the exhibition for the Cathedral or personally.
