The Cathedral of St. Philip - Atlanta, GA

Antiques Show Will Again Feature Flower Festival

The Flower Festival is a tradition of the Cathedral Antiques Show. This year, 25 Georgia garden clubs and area churches will send their best designers to create innovative floral displays, serving as inspiration for entertaining, weddings, and home decor. These masterpieces are shown throughout the sacred spaces of the Cathedral, and are included with a general admission ticket.

On Friday, January 25, we mark the return of the wildly entertaining Iron Floral Competition, back this year by popular demand, as well as present two special guests as part of our lecture series:

Charlie McCormick is a British gardener, floral designer, stylist, and supplier and grower of cut flowers with a large Instagram following. He has been featured in Architectural Digest, Town and Country, and House and Garden.

Paula Prykeis a world authority on floral art, publisher of 18 books on the subject, widely recognized as one of London’s top florists. She has been recognized for revolutionizing the British flower industry and was awarded an OBE (Order of the British Empire) in 2014 for her contribution to floral design in the UK.

This year’s beneficiary is Wilderness Works. Learn more about the organization at wildernessworks.org. Tickets and more information about the show are available at cathedralantiques.org.
