His latest book, The Romance of Flowers, showcases charming bedside bouquets to showstopping centerpieces. From a simple arrangement of yellow roses in a glass vase to a free-form mix of succulents sprinkled atop a dining room table, these designs will appeal to anyone with an appreciation of color, artistry, and imagination. A book signing will follow the presentation.

 

Gudron Cottenier

Award-winning floral designer Gudrun Cottenier is one of Europe’s leading floral educators and the author of two books, including the new Floral Party Table Decorations. Cottenier’s innovative use of natural materials and antiques in tabletop decorations has put her at the forefront of floral design, and her flower school in Belgium is a global center of floral instruction that draws students at every level of the craft. This will be the first stop of her 2016 U.S. tour and her first appearance in Atlanta since 2012. Cottenier will demonstrate the latest European trends in floral design and tablescapes. A book signing will follow the presentation.
