Shorthand for “Episcopal Youth Community” (or, originally, Episcopal Youth Churchmen!), EYC can mean any number of things, depending on who you ask. Many of the adults in this parish grew up going to some version of EYC! As part of the Cathedral Youth Ministries, EYC refers to the programming that is most specifically for youth. Much like the ECW Guilds, EYC is a community within our larger community and includes things like the retreats to Kanuga, rafting and ziplining, and Tuesday Fellini’s Bible Study, and weekly meetings on Sunday Evenings, which we will refer to simply as “EYC.”
Sunday Night EYC
Sunday nights, we gather together to enjoy fellowship with each other. After a game or activity, we share a meal and pray together. Activities could include Movie Night, Indoor Glow-in-the-Dark Ultimate, Tie Dying, and many more! If you are interested in helping to provide a meal for EYC one night, please click here. For more information about EYC, call or email Maggie Paul, Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries, 404-365-1080.
