At the Cathedral Farmers Market annual Sunday Supper, we bring in exceptional chefs from around the city, partner them up with a farmer, and provide guests with a truly farm-to-table potluck experience. This dinner provides an opportunity to eat, drink, mix and mingle with the chefs and farmers that make small-scale agriculture one part of the solution to creating a sustainable local food system for our community. With seasonal flavors, live music, beer, wine and signature cocktails, enjoy the bounty that a southern autumn provides and join us for our Sunday Supper on November 10!
Peachtree Road Farmers Market, which takes place Saturdays at the Cathedral, relies on the work of volunteers to assist with setting up market and breaking down the site at the end of the day. We also need volunteers to answer customer questions at the information booth, assist the chef during chef demos, operate our SNAP benefit program, assist with merchandise sales and other tasks. If you are interested in volunteering, please email the communications coordinator at email@example.com.
The Cathedral Farmers Market joined Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms in kicking off the 7th annual Mayor’s Summer Reading Club on Thursday, May 30 at the Alliance Theatre. Children and their families heard a special reading of “In my Granny’s Garden,” then stopped by the market tent to learn about the farmers market, what produce is currently in season, and how to plant their own vegetable seeds.
We are proud to start our 13th season at the Peachtree Road Farmers Market! Since its opening in 2007, we have grown to be a leader in the good food community. PRFM is the largest producer-only farmers market in the state. Producer-only means that everything at the Market has been grown, raised, or made by the seller, ensuring fair prices for both the vendors and the consumers.
Join us in Child Hall on June 17 for a special Father’s Day edition of the Peachtree Road Farmer’s Market’s annual Sunday Supper. Celebrate dad with a bountiful summer harvest meal fresh from our farmers. The chefs will serve up their dishes family style while you enjoy refreshing libations and live music by Funk Cake. The chef lineup includes Thomas McKeown of the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, Jenn Robbins of Good Foods Kitchen, Suzi Sheffeld of Beautiful Briny Sea, Sarah O'Brien of The Little Tart Bakeshop, and Nick Anderson of City Winery.
We are pleased to announce that Sara Craig-Goodell has been chosen as the new executive director of the Peachtree Road Farmers Market effective immediately.
The Peachtree Road Farmers Market at the Cathedral of St. Philip seeks a highly motivated, energetic individual, dedicated to the promotion of locally produced food and locally made products, to manage market operations, beginning January 1, 2018.
Join us for an evening of local food, live music, dining, and dancing as we celebrate ten amazing years of memories.
Wednesday evenings from 4:30–8 p.m., guests can find farm-to-table fresh meals to enjoy at the market or take home. Live music, chef pop-ups, and local breweries make it the perfect evening.
This year, we'll spend our Wednesday evenings on the Lanier House Lawn, a relaxed, shady area directly adjacent to the Cathedral parking lot.
The market takes place in the parking lot on Saturday mornings, 8:30 a.m. – noon, beginning April 1, and Wednesday evenings, 4:30–8 p.m. starting April 19. Market is open rain or shine, in the event of bad weather we move the entire market inside Child Hall.
Please join us on Saturday, October 15 from 9 a.m. - noon when the Cathedral Farmers Market hosts the Cathedral Thrift House for a culinary yard sale! We will have beautiful vintage and contemporary culinary items of all kinds, for every style and budget. All proceeds will go to benefit the Thrift House and the Farmers Market. The Thrift House will also be accepting donations of culinary items during the sale.
